Creating Project

There must be a client in the system to create a project. You can reach "project adding"page by moving your mouse over “Add” in upper menu and choosing project or using CTRL + ALT + P shortcut.

Creating Project

If we take a look at this page basically, there are four stages that you need to fill while creating a project.

  1. Basic Information of the Project: Which project belongs to the client, name and explanation information is included. You can change these fields later.
  2. Time Information: Information of starting date and delivery date of the project. This information is not required. However, it is recommended to specify the starting date. You may need these informations in terms of the project management. These datas can be updated later.
  3. Fee Setting: in case of project completion, Information of how much the fee will be, which pricing options will be used, what will be the fees and which currency of these fees will apply to . The subject of project pricing is explained in here detailed.
  4. Files: It is the step of including required documents, pictures, videos etc. that users may need while developing the project.(You can also upload task documents. In this part, it is recommended to add general documents about the project.)

The fields that can be filled in adding project page;

  • Choose a Client: It is the choice of the client who has the project. It is required.
  • Project Name: It is the identifier name of the project. It will be easy to understand when you give an intuitive name to your task. It is required.
  • Explanation: It is the place that your project details can be inserted. Explaining the project properly, will provide great convenience to project managers and project users. It is not required.
  • Estimated Starting Date: It is the date that you will start to work. It is not required to but it is recommended.
  • Estimated Finishing Date: It is the date that the project will be delivered. These are not used in calculations. It is not required.
  • Fixed Fee: Regardless how long you have worked on the Project, it is the amount that will be paid for Project delivery.
  • Limit: In case of exceeding the limit that has been inserted during the project development, an hourly fee is added for an hour in addititon to fixed fee.
  • Hourly Fee: If you specify an hourly fee without inserting fixed fee to the project, it will be priced for how many hours you have worked during the project development process. If it is inserted with fixed fee, addition hourly fee is added to fixed fee in case of excessing specified limit.
  • Currency: It is the currency that will be used for pricing the project and subtasks. It is required to choose. It will not affect the task fee that has been specified as fixed fee.
  • Adding File: Required documents, pictures, videos etc. can be included in project, which users may need while developing the project.
